Cultivation guide for Cress
-
Sow the seed thickly using 1 teaspoonful
to a seed tray 30 cm square. Cover with paper or moist sacking which
should be removed just before the plants appear (10-12 days). Then
water with a complete soluble plant food. Harvest with scissors at
ground level in 2-4 weeks.
Land cress can be grown from seed or by finger-length cuttings struck
in moist sand. Leafy tip sections are harvested similarly to water
cress.
